TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms for using Ministry Week

Effective September 3, 2026

These terms govern access to Ministry Week. They are practical prelaunch terms and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before commercial launch. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

The service

Ministry Week provides tools for organizing Scripture references, research, outlines, drafts, lessons, ministry materials, and a private Library. Features may change as the product develops. We may suspend a feature when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or reliability.

AI-assisted preparation

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, fabricated, theologically disputed, or inappropriate for your context. Ministry Week is a preparation aid, not an authority on Scripture, theology, counseling, law, medicine, safeguarding, or professional practice. You remain the author and responsible ministry leader. Review and verify Scripture wording, quotations, sources, historical claims, interpretations, illustrations, applications, and final materials before teaching or distribution.

Your content and permission to operate the service

You retain ownership of content you submit and drafts you create. You grant Ministry Week a limited permission to host, process, reproduce, and format that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate law; infringe intellectual property or privacy; impersonate another person; distribute malware; probe or disrupt security; automate abusive traffic; generate deceptive claims about real people; or submit confidential records, personal information about minors, or sensitive information you are not authorized to process. Do not present AI-generated quotations or source claims as verified when they are not.

Trials, plan capacity, subscriptions, and cancellation

Paid plans include separate monthly allowances for AI-assisted message preparation and Visual Studio work. The applicable work unit and its exact underlying accounting are shown in Plan & Usage and before an expensive generation begins. Manual writing and editing, Visual Studio project setup, message analysis, organizing, reopening, saving, downloads, and ordinary exporting do not reduce AI capacity. A bounded number of routine AI revisions may be included when the product explicitly says so; work outside that boundary shows its impact before it begins. Failed requests are refunded, and duplicate retries are not deducted twice. Existing content remains accessible at a limit. Additional capacity requires a deliberate purchase—Ministry Week does not automatically charge overages. Trial length, allowances, pricing, renewal, rollover, and purchased-capacity terms are shown at signup or purchase. Annual subscriptions are billed annually while included allowances refresh monthly. No payment or automatic renewal occurs unless you affirmatively choose a paid plan and authorize payment. You may cancel future renewal through account settings or by contacting support, and paid access continues through the current billing period unless otherwise disclosed.

Exports and third-party services

Some exports or links may open third-party products. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for confirming that exported material is suitable and that you have permission to distribute it.

Termination

You may stop using Ministry Week at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, unlawful conduct, security threats, nonpayment, or misuse. When reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to retrieve your content, except where prohibited or unsafe.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Ministry Week disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy, completeness, theological suitability, or ministry outcome of generated material.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ministry Week will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Ministry Week’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms and will post the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Applicable law governs without regard to conflict-of-law rules; the specific governing jurisdiction should be confirmed with counsel before paid launch. Questions, cancellations, or legal notices may be sent to support@ministryweek.com.
