How Ministry Week handles your information

This policy explains how Ministry Week collects, uses, stores, and shares information when adult ministry leaders use our website and preparation workspace. It is a practical prelaunch policy and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before commercial launch.

Information we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, ministry or organization, preferences, and authentication information. We also store content you choose to provide, including passages, topics, notes, message drafts, lessons, research requests, audience profiles, uploaded preparation documents, visual briefs, generated images, presentation content, and saved materials. We record service data needed to operate and protect the product, such as preparation- and visual-credit usage, generation status, error information, device and browser information, and basic activity timestamps.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you; create, save, search, edit, and export your preparation; personalize results to your stated tradition and audience; process AI-assisted requests; administer trials, credits, subscriptions, referrals, and support; prevent misuse; diagnose failures; and improve reliability and usability. We do not sell your personal information or ministry content.

AI processing and service providers

When you request AI-assisted preparation, the message content, instructions, and selected preparation documents needed to fulfill that request may be sent to Anthropic. When you request Visual Studio image generation or revision, the approved visual brief and, for a revision, the source image are sent to OpenAI. Ministry Week uses Supabase for account, database, and private-file services; Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing; Resend for transactional team-invitation email; and hosting and infrastructure providers to deliver the website. These providers process information on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations. Do not submit confidential counseling records, protected health information, financial account data, information about minors, or other material you are not authorized to share.

Your ministry content

Your private workspace content remains yours. We use it only to provide, secure, and support the service, unless you separately authorize another use. Ministry Week does not publish or share a message, lesson, note, or research item with other users by default.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and maintain backups. You may request account or content deletion at support@ministryweek.com. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect account and workspace information. No internet service can promise absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or content has been accessed without authorization.

Your choices and rights

You may review and update profile and preparation preferences in your account. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We will verify requests before acting on them.

Children

Ministry Week is designed for adult ministry leaders and is not intended for use by children under 13. Children’s lesson tools help adult leaders prepare materials; they are not child accounts. Do not enter a child’s personal information into the service. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when required. Questions or requests may be sent to support@ministryweek.com.
